SEC representation in the latest ESPN 2024 mock draft was well documented, courtesy of Jordan Reid.
With the 2024 NFL Draft a few months away, all kinds of predictions are starting to be made. Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers were projected as the 1st pair of SEC stars to be selected in the 1st round. The Heisman Trophy winner and his favorite target were both inside the top 10. Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner came in at No. 9.
The Crimson Tide had the most players land inside the mock draft at 4. The Tigers were close behind with 3 players taken. Georgia finished 3rd with 2 of its former players selected.
Here’s how the mock draft looked:
- No. 3: New England Patriots, Jayden Daniels, LSU QB
- No. 5: Los Angeles Chargers, Malik Nabers, LSU WR
- No. 9: Chicago Bears, Dallas Turner, Alabama EDGE
- No. 13: Las Vegas Raiders, Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama CB
- No. 14: New Orleans Saints, JC Latham, Alabama OT
- No. 15: Indianapolis Colts, Brock Bowers, Georgia TE
- No. 18: Cincinnati Bengals, Amarius Mims, Georgia OT
- No. 22: Arizona Cardinals (Via HOU), Terrion Arnold, Alabama CB
- No. 25: Kansas City Chiefs, Brian Thomas Jr., LSU WR
The 2024 NFL Draft will take place from April 25-27 in Detroit, Michigan.
