SEC Shorts delivers perfectly-executed shot at Big Ten in latest episode
SEC Shorts took aim at the Big Ten and didn’t miss in its latest video.
The video featured the “Big 10 Show” which that alone should be enough to anger fans of the conference. It all started with a nod toward Michigan’s alleged sign stealing.
“For the 1st time since the Ice Bucket Challenge, an SEC team will not be playing for the national title and we here at the Big 10 Show are pretty tickled about it,” said the host. “Turns out, you don’t even need to steal signals when the other team’s only play is quarterback scramble.”
A jab was then taken at the turmoil happening in the Big Ten. A caller chimed in complaining that Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti didn’t have the guts to punish Michigan in an expletive-filled rant. This was followed by an Ohio State fan wishing the Wolverines would be crushed in the national championship.
Even the Pop-Tarts Bowl mascot was mentioned, as the “Big 10 Show” had its own edible mascot. The show ended with an interview of a USC fan as the show leaned into the Californian vernacular.
The SEC isn’t going to be in the national championship, however SEC Shorts made sure it landed the final blow.
