SEC Shorts puts Alabama in hostage situation, demands answers about how escapes continue
SEC Shorts has first-half Alabama in a hostage situation this week.
With duct tape in full use, LSU, Kentucky and Auburn surround the Crimson Tide.
“We’re just going to ask you one question, when you answer it, you’ll be free to go,” LSU said.
Kentucky added, “Easy as that.”
Alabama: “Well OK, kind of feels like I’m on Hostage Jeopardy! Fire away.”
LSU: “How in the world does the worst Alabama team in 13 years …”
Kentucky: “… A team that was only up 10-3 with a minute left against South Florida …”
Auburn: “… A team that only beat bottom-dweller Arkansas by 3 points …”
LSU: “… Still winning all these conference games, as we’re the teams remaining on your schedule this year, we’re going to find out.”
As Alabama references the Liberty Bowl, and a possible 2-game losing streak to Tennessee, Auburn interjects and appears confused about the forward pass.
Alabama replied, “Look, we’re usually down by multiple scores and then I black out. When I come to, we’ve won. I can’t make heads or tails of it.”
There’s also a Dan Enos joke one day after the Arkansas offensive coordinator was fired by Sam Pittman.
And that’s about when the garage door opens, and second-half Alabama walks up the driveway.
