By now, you know that Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III is one of the fastest players in college football. In fact, when he goes out for the NFL Draft, he may end up breaking the Combine 40-yard dash record.

On Saturday afternoon against South Carolina, Ruggs got a chance to show off his speed once again, scoring on an 81-yard touchdown pass.

As you can see below, once he has a step on a defender, it quickly turns into a 5-yard gap:

That’s some serious speed, and it’s always fun to see him put it to use. South Carolina has given up a couple of big plays, but the Gamecocks are hanging tough.

Stopping the speed in the Alabama receiving corps all day will be tough, though.
