Former Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III showed off his world-class speed on Sunday in the first half against the Kansas City Chiefs as the Las Vegas Raiders receiver burned the defense for a 72-yard touchdown catch, the first TD in his NFL career.

Ruggs has started games, but missed time this season with knee and hamstring injuries, but looked to be at full speed and then some on his catch that torched the Chiefs secondary.

The Raiders drafted Ruggs, who was the fastest player available, 12th overall in the NFL Draft.

Ruggs dropped only one pass last season at Alabama and averaged more than 10 yards after catch per reception, according to Pro Football Focus. The past two seasons, Ruggs had 86 catches for 1,481 yards

In the first half on Sunday, Ruggs had two catches for 118 yards on two targets as QB Derek Carr rolled up three touchdowns and 246 passing yards.
