So far this season, Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for 1,007 yards, 12 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.

He’s been one of the best players in the country, and SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow says he actually has been the best.

On SEC Nation on Saturday morning, Tebow explained why Tagovailoa is the top dog right now:

“I think he’s the best player in the country right now,” Tebow said. “You look at the efficiency and how effective he was against not a great team, but a decent South Carolina team. It’s not just that they’re scoring. They’re making it look easy.”

How will Tagovailoa fare against Southern Miss this week? We’ll find out when they kick off soon.
