Tom Brady will be entering Gillette Stadium as a visitor for the first time on Sunday night, and all eyes will be on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback as he goes up against the New England Patriots, his team for the first 20 years of his NFL career. It’s going to be an intriguing matchup for that reason alone.

Not only that, but Brady will be going head-to-head with the Pats’ probable new franchise QB. Mac Jones, who is 3 games into his pro career after impressing at Alabama, will look to help New England pull off an upset against the defending Super Bowl champions.

So, what does the 44-year-old Brady think of the 23-year-old Jones? Any thoughts on what he’s seen of the youngster through the first 3 weeks of the 2021 season?

“I haven’t seen him much at all. Yeah,” Brady told the media on Thursday when asked about Jones.

And that was it. That’s all Brady had to say about the rookie who now holds his former job.

It shouldn’t be too surprising. Brady spent 20 seasons playing for Bill Belichick, after all, and the longtime Patriots coach is known for not divulging too much to the media. Perhaps that rubbed off on Brady after 2 decades.

Regardless, it should be exciting to see Brady and Jones face off with 2 eras of QBs colliding.

The Patriots and Buccaneers are set to kick off on Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
