Tua Tagovailoa has come a long way since Nov. 16.

That was the date of Tagovailoa’s unfortunate and devastating hip injury suffered against Mississippi State that ended his college career. Now four months removed from his hip surgery, the former Alabama signal-caller is back on the practice field and training in anticipation for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Tagovailoa, along with his younger brother Taulia, were recently spotted in Nashville training with the National Playmakers Academy.

In the video below, you can see both Tagovailoa brothers throwing passes while training in Nashville.

Tagovailoa was scheduled to hold an individual Pro Day event in Tuscaloosa in early April leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft but it’s unclear if that will happen now following the coronavirus outbreak. Outside of these training sessions, Tagovailoa may not have many opportunities to show NFL teams he’s getting closer to seeing the field.

According to a recent report, the Miami Dolphins were hoping to have Tagovailoa in for a visit but the NFL has suspended all prospect visits for the 2020 NFL Draft until further notice.
