Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa injured his leg during a slide against Missouri.

With Alabama leading 30-10 in the third quarter, Tagovailoa ran on third down attempting to pick up the first down. While sliding, Tagovailoa’s cleat got caught in the ground, and he left the game immediately.

Tagovailoa went into the medical tent to be evaluated by the medical staff, and then, he emerged later in the third quarter.

ESPN’s Todd McShay updated his status on ESPN late in the third quarter. McShay said that Tagovailoa re-injured his knee (he already had a sprained knee), and he was questionable to return against Missouri.

Obviously, it’s unlikely that Alabama will need Tagovailoa again against the Tigers, but he’s there in case of emergency.
