Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and he showed why on Saturday against South Carolina.
In the 47-23 victory over the Gamecocks, Tagovailoa threw for 444 yards and 5 touchdowns to lead the Tide.
Now, he’s being rewarded for the big performance. On Wednesday, the Davey O’Brien Award announced on Twitter that the Alabama quarterback had earned the Week 3 National Quarterback of the Week Accolade:

Like the Heisman Trophy, Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray won the Davey O’Brien Award last season. Can Tagovailoa change that this fall?
He’s off to a great start, as Alabama’s offense looks just as dangerous through the air as it did last year.
