Tua Tagovailoa had a wild Sunday.

He got knocked out of Miami’s game against Buffalo in the 2nd quarter only to return after halftime to help his team secure a hard-fought 21-19 victory.

The former Alabama star quarterback passed for 186 yards and a touchdown in the win.

But it was the Dolphins’ defense that came up big late in the 4th quarter, as it thwarted a potential game-winning drive in the final seconds by the Bills.

Following the victory, Tagovailoa talked about what the win meant for Miami.

“I think it’s so cool to see what our team is capable of,” he said. “Last week you guys could kind of see like what our offense could do and now it’s not just our offense being able to finish games but our defense stepping up and being able to finish a tough game against a really good opponent.”

Added Tagovailoa: “We’re starting to find our identity as a team. We’ll just continue to push. We’ll enjoy this win, come in tomorrow and get ready for the Bengals on Thursday.”

Tagovailoa also offered a personal injury update, as he was dealing with a back issue and also checked for a concussion after the hit that temporarily sidelined him.

“I’m doing good. We’ll go get those checked. But for the most part it feels good, especially after a win.”
