Tyrann Mathieu calls out critics of Mac Jones, explains why QB was overlooked
This doesn’t happen very often in sports to see one star of a rival college football team defend another, but that’s what happened Tuesday on Twitter when former LSU standout Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu came to the defense of former Alabama quarterback, now New England Patriots starter Mac Jones.
The Honey Badger called out NFL reporters and analysts who were critical of Jones during the NFL Draft.
Mac Jones wasn’t trendy enough for y’all at first huh now y’all love him…. Man, y’all funny!!! Day in and day out!!! Y’all should be on Comedy Central

This past Sunday, Jones had his best game as the Patriot starter throwing for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Pats 45-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
