Marlon Humphrey had his name cleared in a Tuscaloosa court this week as a judge dismissed the felony robbery charge the former Alabama defensive back faced following a January Uber ride.

Humphrey was booked by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office for a third-degree robbery charge in January after an Uber driver accused the current Baltimore Raven defensive back of stealing his phone charger and threatening him with violence.

After hearing testimony, a Tuscaloosa judge threw out the charge against Humphrey on Friday, according to Stephanie Taylor of the Tuscaloosa News. The charge Humphrey faced was a Class C felony, which could have resulted in years in prison if a conviction was handed out.

This is obviously good news for Humphrey, who can now focus his offseason completely on his preparation for his second season in the NFL.
