Long-time Alabama TE Miller Forristall has gotten another chance to extend his football career.
Forristall has reportedly landed a free agent deal with the Tennessee Titans, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported. Forristall spent five seasons (2016-20) at Alabama, setting career highs last season with 23 catches for 253 yards.
Forristall joined teammate Dylan Moses, a projected mid-round pick who reportedly signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, in undrafted Alabama players who agreed to deals Saturday evening.
Forristall bounced back from a pair of season-ending knee injuries in 2017 and 2018. But his 2016 season was memorable. He played in all 15 games in his first year with the Tide, and started the opener against USC, and then got the start against Florida in the SEC Championship Game. His first career pass came at Arkansas, for 32 yards, and he also made a huge reception at LSU, which went for 22 yards and a first down as part of the Tide’s go-ahead scoring drive late in the game.
On top of those knee injuries, he also dealt with a throat injury in 2019 in the same season he had four touchdowns.
Overall, the 6-foot-5, 244-pounder recorded 44 receptions for 505 yards and five touchdowns in his career.
Nashville here we come. Excited for the opportunity. God is good all the time all the time God is good. https://t.co/GffJiwQOZd
