USC officially announces 2020 season opener against Alabama in AT&T Stadium
USC wants another piece of Alabama.
On Wednesday, the Trojans officially announced that they have agreed to open the 2020 season against the Crimson Tide in Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The two programs opened the 2016 season in the venue in a game Alabama won 52-6.
That game featured a hyped USC team that eventually went 10-3 after some early struggles while Alabama won its first 14 games before losing to Clemson in the National Championship Game that season. The Tide hold an all-time edge on USC by a 6-2 margin.
News of the 2020 season opener was first reported in March by Jim Dunaway of WJOX radio in Birmingham.
