The Foy-ODK Sportsmanship Trophy was presented to the Crimson Tide at halftime of Saturday night’s Alabama-Auburn basketball game for winning November’s Iron Bowl 30-12 over the Tigers. Alabama was won the game, and the trophy, three consecutive seasons.

Unlike last year, UA coach Nick Saban and members of the football team did not show up Saturday night to accept the trophy. Outgoing athletic director Bill Battle accepted the trophy on behalf of Saban and the team.

Battle, who has been athletic director since 2013, announced he was retiring last month. Arizona AD Greg Byrne takes over at Alabama effective March 1.

Crimson Tide fans did not get to celebrate another rivalry victory, as Auburn won the basketball game 82-77.
