Backup quarterbacks serve an important role in college football.

They are often the ones to help the offensive coaches call plays to the athletes on the field.

Alabama backup QB David Cornwell had an interesting way to signal a play to his teammates during today’s SEC Championship Game, throwing a hip thrust into his call.

Watch for yourself in the above video. If Cornwell is actually signaling the play or if he’s just a decoy is irrelevant — he is completely dedicated to his job.
