Most known for his incredible hits on kickoff coverage against Texas A&M last season, one of which dislodged the tooth of former Aggie receiver Speedy Noil, Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson appears to have some serious basketball skills, too.

The former five-star recruit will be looked upon as one of the program’s likely replacement for departing linebacker Reuben Foster, who was a first-round pick in the latest NFL draft. Ironically, Foster began his Crimson Tide career as a big hitter on special teams. Judging by the hits Wilson has delivered in limited action and his recruiting hype, it makes sense that he will be among the first to get a crack at replacing Foster in the lineup.

While the college football offseason is dedicated to the weight room and classes, it also allows plenty of free time for the athletes. Looks like Wilson is using his time to develop his basketball game:
