With the bright lights on, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones demonstrated why he is the best pass-catcher currently in the NFL.

The Falcons defeated the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game by a score of 44-21. Atlanta will now play in Super Bowl LI against the winner of the New England/Pittsburgh game.

Jones finished the contest with 9 catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns — including a 73-yard scamper accompanied by a vicious stiff arm.

Former Alabama teammate Rashad Johnson (and surely other former Crimson Tide athletes) felt the wrath of a Jones’ stiff arm during their time in Tuscaloosa. He tweeted out this video of Jones executing the move during a college practice:

Later in the game, Jones came across the middle and inexplicably made the grab displayed below. Not only was Jones flipped upside down by two Green Bay defenders, but he had the courage to go over the heart of the field amongst multiple heat-seeking Packers for the catch.

Jones also made history as the first player in the Super Bowl Era with at least 150 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns in multiple conference title games.

As the Falcons get ready for the world championship, one can be sure Jones will be more than ready to help bring back a title to Atlanta.
