It’s a common expression of gratitude in sports, a friendly pat on the backside.
Not everyone enjoys it, however.

During Alabama’s win over Charleston Southern on Saturday, star defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson gave Lane Kiffin a surprise tap and the Crimson Tide assistant coach wasn’t pleased.
