At Nick Saban’s Monday press conference, a reporter asked a question about center Bradley Bozeman. When asking the question, the reporter made a reference to Bozeman being one of the team’s highest-graded players. Saban seemed alarmed by the question, asking the reporter how he got access to these grades.

While it cannot be heard in the video’s audio, Pro Football Focus writer Sam Monson says that the reporter was referencing PFF’s player grades and not Alabama’s internal grades as it appears Saban suspected. Once that issue was settled, the coach agreed that Bozeman is one of the team’s highest-graded players, praising the center for how he dealt with the noise at Death Valley in Alabama’s 10-0 win over LSU.
