Video: What Alabama QB Jalen Hurts said after championship loss
Alabama true freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts did not have his best game (nor his worst) in the team’s 35-31 loss to Clemson in Monday night’s national championship, completing under 42 percent of his passes with 194 total yards and two touchdowns.
The Tigers did an excellent job of containing Hurts and keeping him in the pocket, forcing him to make uncomfortable throws down the field due to constant pressure.
Luckily for the Crimson Tide, their SEC Offensive Player of the Year has at least another two years of eligibility, and a incredibly poised Hurts will only continue to get better as he matures under coach Nick Saban’s “process.”
Watch the above video for Hurts’ thoughts from the game inΒ his post-game interview.
Reporters always ask that question: “What’s it like being on this end of the stick….”
Wtf do you think man? Sh!t sucks, duh lol. I just wonder what they’re expecting when they ask that like it’s supposed to change how any other person would feel after a loss.
This kid can hold his head up. He made some big plays. Jeremy Pruitt on the other hand….
One good pass to a wide open receiver. Other than that, he was well below average. 2-15 on third down. Blaming the defense for this would seem like you didn’t even watch the game.
Did you pass out drunk before the end of the game? Jalen made a huge run 30 yard TD run with two minutes left in the game to go ahead of Clemson. If the D holds on the following possession it would have been the game winner. Kirk H was so amazed at the play that as soon as it happened he said: “A legend is born!” Pretty good for an 18 year old.
Ok then. One good pass, one good run. Still 2-15 on third down. Your legend lost, and with the best supporting cast in the country.
I guess bamtards are a little butthurt this morning. Now go back to your miserable life’s. but wait, we have won …. many over this many years… but not this year. Bahabahahaha
Aww sweetie. If you’re going to call someone a “tard,” you’d best have everything spelled correctly and up your grammar game.
Right! lol… That is a stupid rhetorical question reporters ask. Jalen played an ok game being a true freshman in a natl champ.gm. Not to many players ever has done what he has at his age. As a fan I’m proud of how he’s played all year. He’s actually better playing in the pocket statistically. He has a ton of room for growth. I expect good things in the upcoming years from him.
I never was as high on Jaylin is so many people seem to be. He has trouble finding the open receiver and many times can’t connect when he does see them

ROLL TEARS ROLL!!!!!ππππππππππ
Yeah, it’s sad only have 4 titles in 8 years when it could have been 5. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to find something to be happy about.
I love how so many people can Turn. So quickly on a 18 year old kid. Do you think he wanted to lose? He had that game win for 59:59. I’m sorry that Clemson was the better team lastnight. To point the finger at him is ludicrous. Now you sound like the team fans that lose to Alabama often. Sucks when the shoe is on the other foot !! I’m not a fan of either team but remember the feeling in the dome in 2012 when the time ran out on Georgia against Bama . I’m glad that Bama fans got to feel how I felt that night. No doubt Bama will be back but it was great seeing them dethroned even if it was only for one night. ” ROLL TEARS ROLL”
