Coaches always preach attention to detail and having total focus, and those are certainly two things that have made No. 1 Alabama dominant in recent years.

In this day and age, though, having a long attention span is a thing of the past, and cell phones are dominant forces in our lives.

However, if you pull out a cell phone on Alabama strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran’s sideline, you’d better be prepared to have that phone ripped away.

As you can see below, Cochran rips a phone out of the hands of someone (perhaps an injured player or a recruit) on the sidelines, clearly not happy about it:

Obviously, there are legitimate reasons coaches wouldn’t want phones out on the sideline, but Cochran just seems to want the user to be paying more attention.

If you’re going to be on Alabama’s sideline during a game, Cochran is going to make sure you’re paying attention to the game.
