The New York Jets may be unsettled at the quarterback position, but Bryce Petty seems to have a strong connection with former Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart.

Stewart, the team’s third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, had a huge second half against the New York Giants on Saturday night in his team’s 32-31 loss.

As you can see in the video below, Stewart caught his first NFL touchdown late in the third quarter when the Jets were down 29-3:

Stewart wasn’t done yet, though. Early in the fourth quarter, Petty found him in the end zone again to cut the deficit to 32-24:

Stewart ended the night with five catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns — his best NFL performance yet.

With the Jets in need of a playmaking receiver, Stewart is making it clear he wants a big role on this team this fall.
