Alabama coach Nick Saban is an absolute legend in the coaching ranks, so you never see him in awkward situations if he can help it.

However, during Monday’s Sugar Bowl, the five-time national champion took a big shot from his own quarterback, Jalen Hurts, during the fourth quarter.

As you can see in the video below, shared by @RotoPat on Twitter, Saban gets knocked to the turf as Hurts scrambles out of bounds on a fourth-quarter play:

Saban did not look thrilled to be ran into by his own player, as you can see in his facial expression.

He followed that up by chewing out offensive coordinator Brian Daboll as the Crimson Tide had to punt.

Perhaps, if the Tide hold on to win, he’ll crack a smile. But, until then, the scowl remains.
