The NCAA is cracking down on sideline violations this season, as Alabama found out the hard way on Saturday night.

During the third quarter of what was then a 10-7 game against Florida State, the Crimson Tide bench was flagged for a delay of game penalty.

That, of course, didn’t sit well with head coach Nick Saban, who, as you can see in the video below, let his assistant coaches know just how upset he was:

Compared to other “ass chewings” Saban has given to assistants in the past, this rant was actually pretty mild.

Still, it’s safe to say his message got across and future sideline penalties will likely be met with even more anger and ire.
