WATCH: Tua Tagovailoa, other Heisman finalists ring the final bell at New York Stock Exchange
While the college football world has spent this week talking about the stocks of all three Heisman Trophy finalists, the trio got involved with some real-world stocks Friday.
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and his competitors for the prized award visited the New York Stock Exchange on Friday head of this weekend’s trophy presentation. All three got to ring the bell that brings daily trading to a halt, as you can see in the video below tweeted by Crimson Tide beat writer Ben Jones.

It’s part of the celebrity treatment Tagovailoa, Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins have been given as they make the rounds during Heisman Week. Someone at the Stock Exchange even let out a “Roll Tide” cheer as Tagovailoa rolled by on the scooter he’s using while recovering from ankle surgery.

Getting to ring the bell was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Tagovailoa and the other finalists. Another one will be waiting for whichever play takes home the Heisman on Saturday night.
