Will Reichard, Alabama’s kicker, a week ago announced that he would declare for the NFL Draft. But on Tuesday, he reversed course and shared his updated plans.

Reichard, who had accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl, explained his latest decision.

“After much prayer and guidance, I realized that I wasn’t ready to step away from Alabama football and the college experience,” he wrote on social media. “I have decided to take advantage of my final year of eligibility and tee it up with my Crimson Tide teammates once more time in 2023.”

Reichard is Alabama’s all-time career points leader, had a fifth season of eligibility available to him because of the pandemic waiver for the 2020 season.

Reichard made 61 of his 74 field goal attempts across his 4-year career in Tuscaloosa, and also connected on 234-236 of his extra point attempts across his career as well.
