Rising redshirt junior WR Tyrell Shavers announced on Tuesday that he was leaving Alabama to explore his transfer options.

Despite losing Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III to the NFL Draft, the Crimson Tide return some talented receivers, including DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle.

As you can see below, Shavers took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to express his thanks to the university and fans:

Shavers appeared in all 13 games this past season, mostly as a special teamer. He had 1 catch for 20 yards, 1 rush for 14 yards and he recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown.

Where Shavers ends up next remains to be seen. He was a 4-star player in the 2017 recruiting class.
