The coaching carousel is seemingly spinning faster than ever this season, but for one Pac-12 school, the coach is expected to stay for another season.
Herman Edwards will have another season at Arizona State, according to a report from Matt Zenitz of On3.
“For a while, it’s seemed like Arizona State would likely be among the Power 5 jobs to open up this cycle,” Zenitz reported. “However, the current expectation is that Arizona State will stick with Herm Edwards and that he’ll remain as the team’s head coach.”
Edwards’ program earlier this season became the subject of an NCAA investigation that allegedly centered on recruiting violations, and led to 3 assistants being suspended.
The Sun Devils are 7-4 and play 1-10 Arizona this week. Edwards is 24-17 overall in his fourth season there.
