Arkansas has lost five straight games and all six of its SEC contests. But Razorbacks head coach Chad Morris is keeping a positive outlook for the rest of the season.

In November, Arkansas has matchups against Mississippi State, Western Kentucky, No. 1 LSU and Missouri. And during his Monday press conference ahead of Saturday’s home game against the Bulldogs, Morris shared what’s motivating the Razorbacks for these final four games.

“As you move forward, you talk about breaking this down into the season of November now. A November to remember — an opportunity for these guys,” Morris told the media. “There’s still a lot ahead of them. There’s still four games remaining; three of four in front of our home crowd. We’ll go two, have the open week and finish up with two. So, I think there’s a lot to play for. These seniors can still leave this mark on their mark on this program and their legacy on this program and change the entire dynamics of this program in the month of November. To me, that’s motivating enough.

“There is not quit in these guys.”

Things will have to turn around, though, for Arkansas to have a strong finish. The Razorbacks’ only two wins have come against Portland State and Colorado State. However, they did have a difficult October schedule that featured matchups against Alabama and Auburn.

But there will be some challenging games ahead for Arkansas, too, beginning with Saturday’s game against Mississippi State. The Razorbacks and Bulldogs are set to kick off at 4 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
