Reports: Alex Collins arrested in Baltimore following car crash

Sounds like Alex Collins had a rough morning.
The former standout Arkansas running back, now a member of the Baltimore Ravens, has been arrested following a car crash that involved a car smashing into a tree, per multiple reports. According to TMZ Sports, the scene of the accident is only a mile away from the Ravens’ facility. The accident is believed to have happened just before 7 a.m. ET. According to The Baltimore Sun, both the Ravens and the Baltimore County police have confirmed the accident and Collins’ arrest.
It is unclear if Collins was the driver of the car when it crashed. The charges against Collins are unknown at this time but he remains in police custody.
In three seasons with the Ravens, Collins has rushed for 1,509 yards and 14 touchdowns in 36 career games. During his three seasons in Fayetteville, Collins rushed for 3,703 yards and 27 touchdowns. Following his playing career with the Razorbacks, Collins was selected in the 5th Round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
