Former Texas A&M WR Jordan Anthony is switching sides in the Southwest Classic. Anthony announced Tuesday that he is transferring to Arkansas.

Anthony is transferring a second time. He began his career at Kentucky in 2022 before joining Texas A&M for the 2023 season. According to Aggies Wire, Anthony wrote on Dec. 23 in a since-deleted social media post that he would be transferring due to family health issues.

Anthony was given the multi-position ATH label coming out of Tylertown (Mississippi) High School. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 9 player in the state of Mississippi and No. 356 prospect overall in the Class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. Anthony picked up 19 offers in his initial recruitment, signing with Kentucky over Syracuse and others.

At Kentucky, Anthony played in 2 games of the 2022 football season, taking a redshirt. A known speedster, Anthony ran track for Kentucky, breaking a UK freshman record with a 100-meter time of 10.16 seconds at an outdoor meet in 2023.

This past season, Anthony played in 3 games for Texas A&M. He recorded 3 catches for 14 yards.

Anthony has 3 seasons of remaining eligibility.
