Arkansas announces running back suspended for WKU game
Saturday is a pivotal game for Arkansas head coach Chad Morris.
The Hogs sit 2-7 on the season, and Morris’ future may be up in the air. Western Kentucky should certainly be a win, but with this year’s Arkansas team, you can’t pencil it in.
A university spokesperson announced that freshman running back A’Montae Spivey is suspended for Saturday’s game for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
Spivey is redshirting this season, and he played in his first game last week against Mississippi State, recording three carries for 14 yards.
The Phenix City, Alabama, native signed with Arkansas in the class of 2019 as a 3-star prospect. He ranked as the nation’s No. 47 overall running back, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
