Arkansas baseball thrashes No. 9 Oklahoma State
Arkansas baseball earned a dominant victory over No. 9 Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon.
The Hogs defeated OSU 18-1 to close out their season-opening tournament in Arlington, Texas. The game was stopped after 7 innings due to the mercy-rule. Arkansas also defeated Texas and lost to TCU this weekend.

Despite putting up 18 runs, Arkansas didn’t show off a ton of power in this game. The Razorbacks hit just 2 home runs to go with 2 doubles and 1 triple.
One of the home runs came from Jared Wegner, who also hit a 3-run triple in the win. Wegner led the team with 5 RBI in the contest.
Six different Arkansas players drove in multiple runs in the win. Amongst the players who started, every Arkansas batter reached base at least once.
On the mound, Arkansas’ Hunter Hollan earned the win with a 4-inning start. He scattered 3 hits while allowing 1 run and striking out 5 batters. Arkansas’ bullpen closed out the game with 3 scoreless innings.
Arkansas will face Grambling at home on Tuesday.
