As a 4-star player coming out of Columbia, Missouri, in the class of 2015, G Jimmy Whitt committed to Arkansas.

After starting 10 games as a freshman and playing in 35 games, Whitt transferred to SMU and played there the past two seasons.

Now, as a graduate transfer, he’s heading back to Fayetteville. On Monday, he announced via Twitter that he was committing to the Razorbacks and new coach Eric Musselman:

Last season, Whitt appeared in 30 games for SMU, starting all of them. He averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

How will he fare in his second go-round at Arkansas? We’ll find out this fall, when he’ll be one of a few transfer players on Musselman’s first Razorback roster.
