An Arkansas defensive back is entering the transfer portal after 1 season with the program. Freshman Anthony Brown announced the decision on Twitter.

“First and foremost I would like to thank Coach Odom and Coach Bowman for putting forth the effort to help me grow as a player and man. I also want to thank the entire University of Arkansas for your support through it all,” Brown said. “Arkansas will forever have a place in my heart and the fans are unforgettable. With that being said I’ll be entering the transfer portal.”

The 6-foot, 180-pound Brown did not see any action this season. The Tennessee native arrived at Arkansas as a 3-star prospect, the No. 17 recruit from Tennessee, and the nation’s No. 48 safety according to the 247Sports Composite.
