Arkansas got enough pitching at critical times, and timely offense in order to knock off Ole Miss on Saturday and advance to the SEC Tournament championship game.

Arkansas’ Cullen Smith launched a two-run home run to right field to open the scoring in the first inning, and the Razorbacks got a key RBI double to secure a 3-2 victory over the Rebels.

In the fifth inning, Ole Miss tied it up with a bases loaded two-run double by Jacob Gonzalez. But in the sixth, Arkansas’ Jalen Battles answered with a two-out double down the left field line, which scored Charlie Welch from second.

Caleb Bolden got the start for Arkansas and went four innings. He allowed three hits, three walks, and he struck out three. In a crucial stretch of the game, reliever Heston Tole went an inning and two thirds, and allowed just one hit and one walk with two strikeouts. Ole Miss starter Cody Adcock pitched four and a third innings, allowed five hits, two walks, two runs and struck out two.

The championship game against Tennessee is set for 3 p.m. ET on Sunday on ESPN2.
