Arkansas was a force to be reckoned with in 2021. The Razorbacks bum-rushed their way into the top 10 and gave Ole Miss and Alabama a run for their money on their way to a 9-4 season.

This year, ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) has the Razorbacks underperforming last year’s progress under Sam Pittman, finishing the year hovering around 7-5 in the regular season, with close matchups against LSU, Ole Miss and Cincinnati in Week 1.

Check it out for yourself below:

  •  Sept. 3, Cincinnati: 59.6% chance of winning
  •  Sept. 10, South Carolina: 72.2% chance of winning
  •  Sept. 17, Missouri State: 99.4% chance of winning
  •  Sept. 24, Texas A&M: 39.8% chance of winning
  •  Oct. 1, Alabama: 12% chance of winning
  •  Oct. 8, Mississippi State: 39.3% chance of winning
  •  Oct. 15, BYU: 53.6& chance of winning
  •  Oct. 29, Auburn: 30.1% chance of winning
  •  Nov. 5, Liberty: 84.1% chance of winning
  •  Nov. 12, LSU: 45.8% chance of winning
  •  Nov. 19, Ole Miss: 50.3% chance of winning
  • Nov. 25, Mizzou: 64.6% chance of winning

The Razorbacks are ranked 19th in the 2022 preseason AP Poll. Time will tell if the Razorbacks are to repeat a stellar season from last year and perhaps even take another step and compete for the SEC West.
