Arkansas was a force to be reckoned with in 2021. The Razorbacks bum-rushed their way into the top 10 and gave Ole Miss and Alabama a run for their money on their way to a 9-4 season.

This year, ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) has the Razorbacks underperforming last year’s progress under Sam Pittman, finishing the year hovering around 7-5 in the regular season, with close matchups against LSU, Ole Miss and Cincinnati in Week 1.

The Razorbacks are ranked 19th in the 2022 preseason AP Poll. Time will tell if the Razorbacks are to repeat a stellar season from last year and perhaps even take another step and compete for the SEC West.
