Arkansas lands commitment from talented Georgia RB Ebony Jackson

The Arkansas Razorbacks landed their 18th commitment or signee for the class of 2020.

Marietta, Georgia, running back Ebony Jackson flipped from Maryland to Arkansas Thursday afternoon. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound back is rated a 3-star prospect and ranks as the nation’s No. 32 overall running back and the state of Georgia’s No. 44 overall prospect for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Jackson committed to Maryland June 15, 2019; however, the chance to play in the SEC and be closer to home helped the Hogs flip his commitment. He flipped his verbal pledge just four days after taking an official visit on the Hill. Jackson was previously committed to Tennessee prior to Maryland, but backed off that pledge just five weeks later. He also suffered a serious knee injury prior to his senior season.

Jackson joins Dominique Johnson as the other running back in the Hogs’ recruiting class.
