Arkansas picks up first 2021 commitment with pledge from in-state OL

Arkansas is on the board for 2021.

Wynne (Arkansas) OT Terry Wells is Sam Pittman’s first pledge for next year’s recruiting class. Wells camped at Arkansas back on June 14, 2019 under the previous coaching staff. The Pittman staff extended a scholarship offer to Wells last month (Jan. 3).

Wells, who has not yet been received 247Sports player grades or a Composite ranking, also has scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Kansas and Southern Miss. Wells took an unofficial visit to Kansas on Jan. 25. During the season, Wells took an unofficial visit to Missouri on Nov. 23, 2019. Then-Mizzou offensive line coach Brad Davis is now Arkansas’ offensive line coach.

Wells announced his commitment by tweeting “I’M ALL IN :exclamation:”  with a “committed” graphic (below), tagging Pittman, Davis and others.

Wynne is listed at 6-4, 282 pounds. His junior season highlights can be viewed below:
