Connor Noland’s days of double duty are over. After pitching and playing quarterback in the 2018-19 season, Noland has decided to focus only on baseball.

Noland made the announcement by sharing a lengthy note (below) on Twitter. The note was accompanied by a tweet reading “No matter which sport I play I’ll always be a Razorback! #Omahogs @RazorbackFB @RazorbackBSB @ArkRazorbacks.”

On the gridiron, Noland played in four games in 2018 as a redshirt freshman, completing 21 of 42 passes for 255 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He started UA’s Oct. 20 game against Tulsa.

On the diamond, Nolan pitched 78.1 innings, posting a 3-5 record and 4.02 ERA, allowing 73 hits and 14 walks while recording 55 strikeouts.
