Arkansas reveals promising injury updates for 2 starters ahead of Auburn game
Arkansas has been impressive through the first 3 weeks of the college football season, sitting at a (2-1) record after a close Week 2 loss to No. 14 Oklahoma State.
The Razorbacks took care of business against UAB on Saturday, winning 37-27 but they have taken several blows to the secondary in particular and that trend continued this weekend.
As Arkansas prepares for its first SEC matchup of the year against Auburn, head coach Sam Pittman met with the media and provided a few injury updates for key players.
Razorback injury update: Arkansas DB Hudson Clark doubtful. CB Jaylon Braxton is likely. Addison Nichols is 'better today than he was Thursday of last week.' #wps

The most notable is starting CB Jaylon Braxton, who suited up against UAB, but didn’t play a single snap as he continues to heal from a bone bruise. Pittman said Braxton is likely to play against Auburn, which is significant for the Razorbacks’ defense.
Arkansas starting center Addison Nichols left Saturday’s win over UAB after getting his ankle rolled on early in the first quarter, and Pittman noted he was struggling in practice last week ahead of the game, but is “better today than he was Thursday of last week.”
Hudson Clark exited in the first quarter of the Oklahoma State game with an apparent back injury. Clark played just 7 snaps but he was Arkansas’ highest-graded defender against the Cowboys according to Pro Football Focus. Clark finished the game with 1 pass breakup on his only target before getting injured.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Razorbacks will be without Clark yet again for Auburn, as he’s officially listed as doubtful as of now.
