Arkansas baseball’s season came to a close Monday afternoon at the hands of the TCU Horned Frogs, 12-4. The Razorbacks pitching staff allowed 32 runs to the Horned Frogs across the past 2 days.

Tre Richardson was especially incredible this weekend for TCU. He launched 4 home runs against the Razorbacks, including 3 yesterday with 2 Grand Slams in a 20-5 win.

It took a while for the Horned Frogs’ impressive bats to come alive Monday, but their offense proved deadly once it got up and running. Arkansas jumped to a 4-2 lead by the 5th inning before TCU plated 10 straight runs to earn the 12-4 win.

TCU was just the better team this weekend. Arkansas downed Santa Clara twice, once on Friday and once in an elimination game after their 20-5 Saturday loss to the Frogs to push them to the loser’s bracket.

Arkansas’ season comes to an end with a 43-19 record.
