The Arkansas Razorbacks missed out on an opportunity to clinch a national title on Wednesday night, but Thursday evening brings another chance, as the Hogs will take on Oregon State in a do-or-die Game 3 at the College World Series in Omaha.
For redshirt senior 2B Carson Shaddy, it’ll be the final time he puts on his Arkansas uniform, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
However, even after being involved in the play that could have clinched a title, Shaddy is staying positive, promising fans he’ll play the hardest game he’s ever played on Thursday night:
Today is my last time to put on the red and white, I promise you that my last game as a hog will be played at the highest intensity that I’ve ever played. Today’s not about feeling sorry for ourselves. Today’s about over coming adversity, and coming out as national champions

Shaddy drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth inning on Wednesday night and has had a solid series at the plate.
However, none of that matters now. All that matters is which team plays better in Game 3. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Eastern time and the game can be seen on ESPN2.
