Arkansas appears to be zeroing in on a new addition to Sam Pittman’s coaching staff. Ronnie Fouch is reportedly close to becoming the new wide receivers coach for the Razorbacks, per FootballScoop.

Fouch is currently the co-offensive coordinator for the Missouri State Bears. Fouch and newly-hired Arkansas OC Bobby Petrino worked together at Louisville and Missouri State. After Petrino left Missouri State to take the OC job with Texas A&M, Fouch stayed on with the Bears.

Fouch has experience coaching running backs, tight ends, and quarterbacks at all levels of college football. The coach also spent time coaching in the short-lived Alliance of American Football (AAF) with the Salt Lake Stallions in 2019.

The Razorbacks are looking for a new WR coach after the Wisconsin Badgers hired away Kenny Guiton. Guiton was promoted from WR coach to OC after the Razorbacks fired Dan Enos in October. With Petrino landing the OC job, new offensive assistants will be brought in to round out the staff.

Sam Pittman is hoping these staff changes will help jumpstart the Razorback offense once again. The team had the No. 107 total offense in the nation in 2023. Most shocking, the Razorbacks went from having the No. 7 rushing offense in the country to the No. 87 unit in 2023.
