There is a new No. 1 team in the nation — according to Baseball America — and for the third time in as many weeks, the nation’s top-ranked team hails from the Southeastern Conference.

Florida opened the college baseball season as the preseason No. 1 team, Ole Miss took over the top spot last week and now it’s the Arkansas Razorbacks that have seized the No. 1 ranking in the country after going 5-0 last week.

The Razorbacks are now 7-0 on the season.

Mississippi State isn’t far behind as the Bulldogs are No. 2 nationally with a 5-2 record. Vanderbilt is No. 3 after going 6-1 early in the season. Ole Miss (5-2 on the season) rounds out the updated top 5 with Florida (6-2 record) remaining in the top 10 at No. 7.
