BYU unveils custom helmets for Arkansas game featuring a cougar head and mountainside

BYU unveiled some custom helmets for the Arkansas game this week, and they feature a cougar head and a mountainside on either side of the lid.
Against the Razorbacks, the Cougars’ helmet will be royal blue, include a white face mask and incorporate the Y logo outlined in white from last week’s helmet. The rest of the BYU uniform will be a white jersey top and white pants, with royal blue trim.
The game is set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday on ESPN.

BYU and Arkansas are meeting for the first time, and Arkansas joins Mississippi State as the only two SEC programs to visit Provo. The Bulldogs did it in 2016 and 2000, LaVell Edwards’ last season.
BYU is facing a team from the SEC for just the 11th time, and the Cougars are 4-6 against teams from the SEC in program history. The Cougars have 2 wins over Mississippi State and knocked off Ole Miss and Tennessee.
