Chad Morris discusses Arkansas’s quarterback competition between Cole Kelley and Ty Storey

The Arkansas Razorbacks must replace former starting QB Austin Allen this fall, and to do so, they’ll choose between Cole Kelley and Ty Storey.
The Hogs are also working a new coach, Chad Morris, into the mix, and his fast-paced offensive style will be much different than what the team has run in the past.
On Wednesday, Morris discussed how the quarterback battle was going, saying the Hogs aren’t anywhere close to making a decision (via 247Sports):
“It’s a wash right now at quarterback,” Morris said. “I’m not going to name one coming out of spring. It’ll probably be into fall camp before we name one.
“These guys are going to continue to push each other. We’ll eventually sit down and name the best fit for this team that gives us the best situation and puts us in the best position to win, but that’s not today and it won’t be anytime soon right now.”
Kelley has more in-game experience, as he filled in for Allen last year when he was injured. However, this is a completely different system, so maybe Storey is a better fit.
Whatever happens, the Hogs will look a lot different when they take the field this fall.
