Saturday was a great day for Chandler Morris, son of Arkansas head coach Chad Morris.

The younger Morris led his Highland Park team to its third-straight 5A Division I state title, a 27-17 win over Shadow Creek. Morris, a junior, was 23-of-35 for 262 yards, three touchdowns and only one interception.

Per WholeHogSports.com, Morris was named the game’s offensive MVP for the incredible performance on the biggest stage.

This was Morris’s first year as the starting quarterback, and he finished with 4,055 yards, 46 touchdowns and only six interceptions.

Morris is a 3-star prospect in the class of 2020, per 247Sports. He holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Oklahoma and others.
